Company overview
45th Parallel Geomatics, based in Hood River, Oregon, was started in June 2016 and provides land surveying services in Oregon and Washington, focused primarily in the NW Oregon and SW Washington.
We have an undeniable aptitude for surveying exemplified by our personnel qualifications, surveying capabilities, and project experience. Our small size means our clients have access to the entire project team and the field and office work are performed by the same people leaving little room for miscommunication and quality control errors.

WHy “Geomatics”
Geomatics (gee-oh-ma-tuhks) is an all-encompassing term that integrates disciplines of land surveying and mapping, geodesy, hydrography, remote sensing, photogrammetry, LiDAR/point clouds, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Samantha
As the owner of 45th Parallel, Samantha oversees all work performed by the company and its subcontractors. She earned a B.S. in Geomatics from the University of Alaska, Anchorage and been working in the field since 2005.
